Learning Technology

Learning technology is the backbone of organisational effectiveness.

Are you the learning technology leader for your organisation? Are you tasked with bringing in a new piece of learning technology? We can help!

One of the hardest decisions to make in L&D is the technology needed to support the organisation. Together, we’ll help you answer the following questions:

  • Will the technology deliver on business needs? What will the technology enable the organisation to do now that it couldn’t do before?

  • Will the technology be value for money?

There are many considerations when it comes to the cost of technology, and money will be a deciding factor. Higher cost doesn’t equate better experience or better design. Lower cost doesn’t equate to lesser quality or poor experience.

  • Will the technology integrate with other organisational systems?

This is where partnering with the IT and Tech teams will be key. What requirements will they have for the technology before it can be considered? For ongoing system performance, what’s the expectation on tech support for the technology?

  • Specifically, will the technology integrate with other learning technologies? Can the different technologies work together in one ecosystem? What will the workforce be required to do with this technology they can’t with another?

  • How will the technology form part of your learning programmes?

If the technology is to be used well, it will have to be a core part of the learning programme design and experience.

  • What is the user experience of the technology?

User experience is a high expectation people will have for any technology they use in the workplace. If the technology requires too many clicks, or unclear instructions, it’s a poor user experience.

We will partner with you with independent advice on buying the technology, and collaboration in developing a strategy for implementation.
